I have all the Harry Potter books, roast me.

(To be fair I was given them as a child)

Oof yourself, he brought a lot of people to the left and his politics are better than 99.9% of US politicians.

I can't hate Bernie. Even if he towed the party line in the end, he did a lot of good too. Gave young people hope, made me consider leftism more seriously then I used to. That has to mean something, right?

I totally get why people hate him now, but I get why people still like him too.

Absolutely. There are plenty of things he's done that bother me, especially recently. He always was the compromise candidate in my book, but he's done too much good in his life for me to trash him based on a leftist purity test that nobody could possibly pass while still attempting to change the system from within and survive.

only after she came into his office and bent the knee presumably. Even by his compromising standing by the party media line, he was remarkably grumpy in interviews RE her lol

It's possible he knew he wouldn't have to and decided not to put the onus on himself to stop her but I get your point. He supported Biden too. This isn't a 'what lib things do you think are actually leftist' thread it's a 'whats your most lib opinion' thread. The man is far from perfect but I refuse to completely throw him in the trash.
