      Your five expendable dollars would go further if you just gave it to the first homeless person you see every month.

      I can say the same about the money that you spent on whatever device you made that post from, or literally any dollar that you spend on entertainment, or any kind of comfort that isn't essential for life.

              There’s no exact line and you know it.

              Which is why I think that as a whole this kind of topic is toxic to the community and that people shouldn't broach it.

              You can do whatever you want with your own cash

              This discussion could have began and ended with this.

              But committing defending that decision when someone else points out “hey we should consider how we can aid those who most need it in our immediate community” is lib shit.

              This originally began with someone suggesting I donate to a politician. And in my exchange with you, I've only asked where the line is.
