Not really sure where to go with this. A storm came through the Midwest and as far as I know went from Iowa to Indiana. Here in Iowa most of the metro areas like Des Moines and on the east side like Cedar Rapids and Iowa City have their power out, some are saying it’s gonna be a week. The governor of Iowa is already in a hot mess over Covid and now most the populated regions of the state have no power. I’ve been checking on everybody I know and thankfully no one is hurt, but most of friends and family still don’t have power.

I don’t know what the fuck to do. Shit just kind of sucks.

Wait, the state lost power over just a storm?

Not a hurricane or even a tropical storm, but just a regular storm?

Maybe you should drop by my local plague cesspool, also known as Florida.

Yeah right! It was straight wind storm, like 80-100 mph winds. Not even a tornado just a storm.

I think that’s pretty accurate. Most we get are tornados but those tend to stay in one spot. This through the entire length of the state I think.

But yeah a hurricane with a lot less water lol

This is what climate change actually looks like. Not everything suddenly becoming Mad Max.
