What is with these people and the need to reflexively defend every little fuckup?

Ramps good stair bad cause ableism.

There's some legitimacy here but that's not what they're doing

ive always found ramps harder to walk up/down than stairs

yeah i know, boo hoo, poor physically fit young adult might trip on a ramp. and i guess it does probably make more sense to build ramps everywhere possible than to just build separate ramps and stairs everywhere. but god dammit, i like stairs :(

How are natural hills for you? I've genuinely never heard of someone having a harder time in an incline than stairs.

Just fine, actually. Never really tripped while hiking, for example.

So just ramps? Maybe there's a standard slope that just doesn't work with you for some reason? I'm just speculating cause it's the first I've heard of such a thing.

Yeah, I'm not sure. Maybe the slopes are too shallow. Like my brain's like "I am ascending / descending now, therefore my feet will do the thing they do on stairs" and then it doesnt work because it's not nearly as steep as stairs. idk

if that's the case, then just using ramps more would solve it i guess
