We're living in the grim future where appending "...in Minecraft" at the end of our statements no longer indicates sarcasm, but rather a property crime that will get you arrested by the FBI.

we should get in on the whole printing money thing. like, just make an app that tells people they have X amount of money in the app, and we all agree to act like it's real money, and... poof, it's basically the exact same thing as bitcoin or whatever.

Step One: buy NFT's of things

Step Two: hire company find entities and send "failure to pay license holder" communications to any have a copy of the NFT's likeness

    Step Three: profit?

yes, but some rich person at some point is going to get pissed when they realize they spent a bunch of money on a receipt and then lobby/lawyer their way into enshrining NFTs into licensing rights

At the moment, probably not. But at some point somebody is going to use NFT's for something other than money laundering.

Also, I just listened to TrueAnon's episode about NFT's and now I can't stop hearing the South Park Underwear Gnomes bit in my head...

I don't know what an NFT is and at this point I'm too embarrassed to ask.
