It’s wild to see some of these stances. Like, I’d love it if more countries thought to help Palestine ever. But I’m baffled when a regime that is giving Russia munitions to kill Ukrainians does it. Is this a "broken clock" sort of thing?

i know this is a canned statement at this point but it's fairly weak if you pare it down this much. all it takes is knowing the Russian army deployed in & supported the donbass before the SMO, which not all but some libs are liable to remember

Why on earth do Americans keep buying this pure hookem?

Do you really think Russia - a global leader in weapons manufacturing for over a century - needs to rely on a small, largely agrarian, hermit kingdom on the opposite side of the continent for its munitions?

I swear to fucking Christ, if the US news media hears Kim fart, we get a headline the next morning about North Korea launching a lethal gas attack launched against the West.

Diplomatic punishment usually manifests as isolating a country (e.g. sanctions). The DPRK is so incredibly isolated that it is free on the vast majority of issues to just say what it wants to say without a substantial possibility of reprisal. Obviously it is limited in what it can say about the PRC and even RoK, but what the fuck can Israel do to them? Send them some Soda Streams and then take them back? (Actually not even that, given sanctions)

          fffffffffffffffffffff i forgot about that.

now i gotta toss this thing in the trash... sorry planet

edit: it seems DrinkMate's cylinders are compatible with soda stream, so i'll just use theirs instead.. no sense throwing this hunk of plastic into an ocean just to spite isn'trael

You already bought it yeah. Just switch gas providers and don't buy their flavors.

Also look into refilling it locally much cheaper anyway. Or if not, DrinkMate refills SodaStream canisters too

yeah i usually went to Ace Hardware to get the refill bottles but it would be nice to just get an adapter thing with a big canister instead

yeah you can get a little doodad to connect a big refillable canister that you can get refilled locally. you've been soending way too much if you buy any comoany's proprietary consumable accesories.

recently bought a petsafe scoopfree litter box on clearance which has reallu expensice refills because the bottom of the trau is cardboard. i bought a third party stainless steel tray. entirely undermined that business model.

You would be less baffled if you had real context for what and why North Korea is.

If you would genuinely like your befuddlement to vanish, please read this book. It's an easy read.

A very short abbreviation of the relevant information is that the DPRK's very existence is the result of the Korean people resisting US imperial occupation, and so it is obvious that they would stand with other victims of empire.
