They've started shadowbanning accounts made using TOR, and I'd like to avoid giving Reddit my IP address.
Any other ideas? A VPN isn't good enough to avoid fingerprinting.
There are other anti-fingerprinting programs and browsers out there, I'm just wondering if anyone here knows of a free one that is comparable.
A VPN paired with sufficient anti-fingerprinting measures would match TOR in privacy.
I'll keep trying but they do seem to be after a few days of normal activity when accessed through TOR. They aren't suspensions, but shadowbans.
The way to know if your account has been shadowbanned is to access the user's page from a different logged out browser. It will show a "user not found" page.
Play the long game, use a password manager and rotate between the accounts. Karma might be a factor too.
Yeah, catposting in aww or whatever for a while to build karma makes your account less likely to be suspended
Let's just start making a whole bunch of accounts, and share on here what we want them to say.
