My anarchist comrades are very cool and good. I think being an anarchist in a lot of online leftist spaces can be tough, so thanks for sticking it out here and bringing your perspective.
If you're not an anarchist but you believe in left unity, you should read The Dispossessed. It's an amazing book on it's own, but it's a beautiful story about how an anarchist society could work.
I hear MLs say things like "yeah we can go after each other after the revolution". But I think that is bullshit. In any sort of leftist project, I think MLs and anarchists totally need each other. It's like yin and yang. If I'm living in a revolutionary state that is mostly ML-leaning, I think you need anarchists comrades to push towards eventually eliminating the state. We need each other.

Ha no you're right I think theory should be read and synthesized for use at the appropriate times depending on the conditions of the situation.
I'm more poking fun at the people who are the I was born a libertarian socialist then was a ML for 18 months before becoming a DemSoc and now am a AnCom-types who at each step think their chosen ideology is the end-all-be-all ideology that should be used in any and every situation without question.
It's mostly unrelated to the original post and done out of love. It was just weirdly on my mind.

We love our anarchist comrades. We have to learn from the mistakes and failures of the previous attempts at socialism and ensure that we make no such errors going forward. I don't want to be part of a socialist revolution that doesn't consider anarchists comrades.
The Dispossessed is also a good window into the potential pitfalls of an anarchist society, which is sort of the driver of the plot
