Yeah yeah it's probably just a conspiracy theory but it's more believable then China creating a virus and releasing it onto their own people.

Like, imagine how funny it would be if this whole time, COVID was the US trying to destroy China by causing a pandemic, and instead China handles it flawlessly and it ends up destroying the west instead. :amerikkka-clap:

Hard to say which is funnier.

    1. The US showing up at the Military World Games and naturally losing at everything

    2. The US bringing SARS-CoV-2 to China via the Military World Games as a way to damage China, but then ending up doing tens of times more damage to themselves

Didn't even know the military world games existed until this comment. Weird how the ultra-jingoistic country of America, famous for worshiping it's soldiers, never let a peep out that they were participating is what amounts to the military Olympics

mysterious vaping lung illness from counterfeit pods snuck into the supply chain summer 2019

this wasn't mysterious, it was a vitamin E derivative being added to sketchy THC vape pods

the rest is easily debunked here: https://www.polygraph.info/a/china-disinfo-covid-19/30647619.html

the lab theory is that they were developing a vaccine and it accidentally escaped. no one is seriously suggesting it was anything else

this website is becoming intolerably smug and disconnected with the wider world. you don't have to buy into mainstream narratives but you need to know what they actually are.

Actually a pretty good way to mess with conspiracy theories is to counter with a bigger one.

"Oh, you think the Jews did 9/11? Wow, the Molemen really pulled the wool over your eyes."

They're saying they found the virus in a mine and stored it in the lab for research but that it escaped accidentally, not that they engineered it on purpose.

how are you not getting this

the theory is that it was collected in nature and altered in a lab for research purposes

but not that it was designed as a weapon or intentionally released

How are you not getting that I'm not talking about the official position. I'm talking about the widespread belief that covid was created in a lab as a bioweapon

There is no reliable evidence to suggest covid has been created or altered in any way.

Another conspiracy theory I came up with: The US secretly brought African Swine Fever or new swine flu strains to China and infected their hogs.

It has it all: profit motive for the US pork industry, a way to test secretly releasing a virus in China before doing covid, and more ammo for CHINA BAD segments on the news.
