It's been several weeks now since Virgil has been on his own show. Has he been cancelled or he is just he locked in the bathroom with IBS? Does anybody know?

Honestly this is what makes me think they're more likely real than fake. I really doubted the accusations, but doing this shit twice is career suicide. The only way doing it makes sense is if you know there's shit that could come out and biding your time in hope that they stop caring about you is better.

Yeah that is wrong. Speaking as neurodivergent person.

Can't believe already-soft-spoken-guy with anxiety issues would just ghost us like that.

He must be guilty of the most heinous crime I can imagine.

Counterpoint: There is no "right" way to handle anonymous accusations like this(Except if its undeniably true and you just admit to it), if he was immediately out with a prepared statement it could just be seen as him trying to save face and his career instead, plus like others said if someone is neurodivergent or has other things going on that impacts how they handle crisis situations its not suspicious to shut themselves off from society.

You can think what you want if its a good way or not to handle it but it shouldnt confirm or dispell the accusations, the accusations are what they are and if there is evidence for them then that will be what confirms them.

I think you could just as easily read this as a guy who (1) has enough money not to have an immediate need to work, and (2) is incredibly pessimistic about this whole thing -- meaning the overall political situation first, and now a sexual misconduct accusation on top of it -- and just doesn't want to deal with it. I've had half of that and have had a hard time slogging through a bunch of stuff you see as meaningless frustrations, so I can imagine the temptation to simply dip out if you have the means to do so.
