X files rules. Watched it 5 or so years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it after having only caught bits and pieces as a kid. Highly recommended. There are boring episodes and amazing episodes kinda like Star Trek.

Currently I have Ghost Adventures on, but had AMC on in the background today and saw Orphan for the first time. It was better than I was expecting tbh.

Speaking of ghost adventures as well, did you watch the BuzzFeed unsolved guys doing their ghost hunts? Absolutely worth a half-paid attention to binge-watch. Those boys are hilarious.

Been watching What we do in the Shadows. I'm liking the direction season 3 is going.
And I watched Perfect Blue a few days ago. Jesus Christ. It was good, but serious content warnings up and down.
I watched all of Squid Game in two days, it was really good. It had unique instrumentation in the soundtrack and had its intense moments along with some very sad ones. I'm glad that it's going to be milked with a second season because the ending was perfectly setup for one, I was surprised that it apparently wasn't made with any sort of follow up in mind.
I just watched Space Sweepers because someone on here suggested it. It was a bit jarring at first because I was expecting a different tone but it was great after I adjusted. I think it's kind of anime-esque? I don't watch any anime so I don't know how accurate that is. The guns looked and sounded cool even if they are just squares.
I'm waiting for more Harley Quinn and Casa de Papel. I wanted to watch The Sopranos and rewatch Venture bros a while back but idk if I will, haven't decided yet.

When I watched some fansub animes in the past, I'd definitely pause to read all the notes about cultural stuff dealing with translation. It's as important as the actual translation, I think, to really get what is trying to be conveyed.
