Been playing some Valheim lately but it gets lonely building towns that no one lives in (plus I’d like to delegate some of the boring jobs to npcs). Is there anything out there that incorporates the player driven resource harvesting and building loop with a city management game?
Is Kenshi like that? I've never played it but from what I've seen it seems like maybe it is?
It is indeed, you can control characters individually or set them to a job. I haven't played that in a while, might redownload it!
The amount of mods for Kenshi is insane since covid hit.
At one point there were like a dozen new mods a week.

That's awesome, I looked and haven't played since like 2 years ago. Can't wait to jump into a pretty much new game haha. Any mods you recommend?
Universal Wasteland Expansion (only works on experimental build though)

I'd like to know as well, sounds like a dope crossover. Medieval Dynasty is the only one that comes to mind. Fallout 4 too lol.
I'm not sure if it really counts but Rebuild 3 might be vaguely what you're looking for there
7 Days to Die on a multiplayer server can build some crazy towns.
Try to find a Darkness Falls server if you can. The playerbase tends to be older and less chuddy.
Surviving the Aftermath is about managing a colony after an apocalyptic event. More of a colony management rather than actiony game though, you send people out to scout and they bring back stuff. You need to build water purifying and food production and clean up areas so you can use them, pretty standard survival sim stuff.
