I long ago gave up the fight to refer to image macros as such rather than just "memes" but god dammit seeing interesting and nuanced formats be rammed into the ground at light speed because hypervirality and enjoying things through several layers of irony is now a standard part of a meme lifecycle and I hate it

    The "nobody:" thing drives me up the fucking wall because I know it's meant to convey that nobody said/asked for anything, but if you want to be pedantic (and I do), what you're saying is that EVERYBODY said/asked for something.
