For me their biggest sin was being bad at satire. They veered wildly between "completely unbelievable" and "current news with a detail changed", and Capitalised Everything So You Knew It Was Melina Posting. @regularassbitch@hexbear.net and @GayTuckerCarlson@hexbear.net have vastly improved the quality of c/fakenews.
