It’s not just about the heckin‘ puppers in the suburbs though, wild animals get scared to hell and back as well and for them there’s actual consequences. Wild deer or birds might just abandon their young.
Add to that the immense air pollution and the endless garbage that’s just left on the ground and it’s just really not worth the mediocre spectacle imo

Fire is a massive risk in some places too, usually moreso for July 4th though
