if you're buying an AR pistol as suggested here, please understand that there are important legal differences between a "pistol" and a "rifle" according to the National Firearms Act that have some felony-level pitfalls if ignored.

TL;DR is, if your AR has a barrel length of less than 16", you cannot legally put a stock on it without registering it with the ATF as a "short barreled rifle" (costs $$ and time). If you want to avoid registration, it must have a "pistol brace" which is ostensibly not intended to be shouldered. To reiterate- "pistol brace" is fine, but buying a $30 M4-style stock and putting it on the gun suggested above is a felony if not registered. Additionally, vertical fore-grips are also a no-no, again with potential felony consequences if not registered.
ALSO, none of this takes into account local/state level laws which may apply to firearms of this type. Definitely inform yourself of what laws apply to your area before making any firearms purchase.
