This is a good observation. If someone's being negative all the time you have to make them identify what they'd actually be satisfied with. If they can't name it, they're either a wrecker or might as well be one. From our standpoint, this also highlights the importance of having both a vision for a more comprehensively good society and a few immediate policy goals we would accept as wins.
