I never understood that logic from misogynists. Men don't randomly beat the shit out of each other for no reason, and if they do, it often results in an assault charge. The exception I can think of is teens fighting about stupid things, drunken brawls or fighting over sports teams but like... Women fight when they're drunk too. Women fight a lot actually. Hell, I fought dudes when I was a dumb teen and I didn't always lose either.

I honestly don't know what these dudes think women are?

I think a lot of guys operate half in imagination where they fantasize about going John Wick and just destroying everyone in a room at any given moment. I think they also assume they have physical superiority over anyone they don't like. The actual fighting doesn't matter, just the results of hypothetical fights.

Hell I've known guys who have lost fights and would still swear they could beat up the other guy even though the results said otherwise.

A lot of men do grow up beating the shit out of each other for basically no reason. I grew up in a family of all brothers. One of my older brothers has two girls and a boy now, and the level of sheer physical violence we were allowed to get up to on each other over stupid kid shit because "boys will be boys" (we'd get into full-on wrestling matches with punches and kicks and generally only be called out if anyone went for the face) versus how quickly my nephew/nieces get called out by their grandparents and parents for like, pulling on something they want aggressively, really served as a "oh shit this is why society is like this" check for me.

They just know they've been told they're especially "not allowed to a hit a girl" and they resent being told what to do even if they never listened to it to begin with.
