    I'm not defending the fbi & I don't trust them to protect me, but I remember reading a report they put out in like ~2016 that said white supremacists had "infiltrated" every level of law enforcement

      the problem with reports like that is that it consistently frames the issue as "white supremacists are infiltrating the police rather than acknowledging the fact that the police are a white supremacist institution.

        I mean the police are white supremacist in the sense that the US is inherently a white supremacist state but when they say that white supremacists have infiltrated the cops they mean literal KKK and Neo-Nazi members are infiltrating it.

        for sure that's why I said "infiltrating" because I doubt they had to try very hard to join, probably just have to about getting any visible Nazi tattoos lol. and even when the fbi puts out reports like that it's not like they do anything about it

      Hilariously the FBI sent out this study years ago. The military immediately took it seriously and purged. The cops got mad and sued.
