Being told this is fairly reliable for info on the situation in Ukraine. let me know if it isn't. https://liveuamap.com/

Don't forget the second bomb.
didn't they also drop a bunch of bombs on populated islands in the pacific while testing?
Maybe not directly on populated islands, but close enough to them that their indigenous populations suffered from radiation sickness, and much of their territory was rendered uninhabitable.
No.
The Trinity test was in New Mexico. You're thinking of all the testing that happened later in the 1950s and 1960s. They even dropped 100 in Nevada. One blast could be seen from Vegas. Eventually the brainiacs realized that testing nuclear weapons above ground was a very bad idea so they finally did solely underground testing for a while and then testing ended entirely. I don't remember the end year exactly. Mid 1970s maybe.
[Edit I was off by a factor of ~40.]
Didn't stop the madmen from trying to detonate them in high atmosphere either before they knocked it off entirely :agony-shivering:
It was more than 2 or 3 - it was around 100 atmospheric tests at the NTS. They were even a tourist attraction for a while
