    I swear to god I'm gonna go fucking berserk from seeing people repeating "Uhh well sanctions arent the perfect solution but what do you propose instead?", ITS NOT A FUCKING SOLUTION ITS JUST CRUELTY.

    Liberal freaks will see a thread pointing out that imperialist sanctions on a people has fucking never "solved" anything but only caused immense pain and suffering to the people and instinctively go "uhh well what do you wanna do then? just let Putin take Ukraine?", ok yes thats what I fucking want if the alternative you fucking maniacs propose is just endless warfare on the civilians of both countries until someone chickens out.

    Edit: Or they will fucking talk about apartheid and BDS like its a fucking gotcha, like holy shit the fucking bad faith in there, you fuckers dont even support BDS and you wouldnt have supported apartheid sanctions either but you think that sanctions on US targets are valid, but for arguments sake, the fucking oppressed peoples of South Africa and Israel are the ones advocating for the sanctions in full knowledge and acceptance of the hardship that will entail on them, Russians have not fucking advocated for sanctions upon themselves.

      I completely agree with everything you said. There is also the dimension of the politicians of the liberal democracies in the EU and US not wanting to be seen as standing idly by while the war goes on, so they impose sanctions and tell their people it's a worthwhile thing to do. Otherwise their ratings might drop if the people are angry about the situation in Ukraine, and their leaders seen as uninterested.
