    Big time, Luffy once punched a slaver in the face as hard as he could and he's caused not one but two prison riots, the first time after breaking into prison

    I recommend watching the anime but skipping the filler

      Also worker uprisings occur and they're led by a man who looks a lot like Che Guevara. The revolutionary army has a steampunk anarchist design to them.

        The vast majority of the show is not filler at all. Like less than 5% probably lol.

        It does however suffer from pacing issues after a certain point. "Filler scenes" in canon material.

            I will say its a great read, it doesnt suffer the same pacing issues when you binge it (though week to week, 4 years for an arc to end is extremely brutal lol)

            But hey nothing is for everyone!

          Some dude on reddit edited up to the end of the first part before the timeskip. It'll last you a while at least.
