Remember: the police are not obligated to put themselves in danger to protect people. Their job is to enforce the law, but only when it's safe for them to do so. As shocking as this is, it's pretty common for police to act like this.

Whoa there. The cops had to keep those parents out. That shooter was executing all those kids as part of the conspiracy theory they largely believe and participate in. They need to go home safely to their families, turn on their computers, and spend their evenings on those forums which radicalised the shooter in two years.

I would understand if it was unarmed, untrained people not going in. That's likely to just add you to the body count.
But these are fucking armed, armored, trained, militarized cops. And they are in a group.
How can you hear someone murdering little children 30 yards away from you while their parents beg and plead for you to save them and your response is to beat down the parents and leave the children to be slaughtered?
How can you rush in to save your own child and then let the rest be killed?
