OnlyFans, the subscriber content platform that is most well known for adult content, allegedly took drastic measures in 2018 to stop models and entertainers who use its service promoting from rival platforms that also feature their content.

the website bribed Meta to put over 20,000 names and social media accounts on a watch list managed by the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism

    :what-the-hell:

real reassuring to know meta can just put anyone on a watchlist without oversight or accountability

unless they take bribes to put twenty fucking thousand people at once on there, then maybe something might happen

what the hell is going on over there

Didn't they try ban penetrative sex and wanted to go softcore only? And had problems with monetisation along with all the mindgeek sites because they were refusing to remove illegal content? I know all the mindgeek sites went verified content creator only and that pissed off all the incels.

        Really weird company

They did a 180 on that after a few weeks, probably led to a not insignificant exodus to their competitors.
