    I like not having to worry about my lactose intolerance. Turns out if you only eat plants, you don't gotta worry about taking enough lactaid.

      That was what really led me to eating more vegan food. I was tired of stomach pain, constant diarrhea, hating food, and horrible acne. I got rid of dairy and it all went away

      I was also surprised with just how dramatic the difference was. The closest comparison would be when I dropped fast food

      I never even considered I was lactose intolerant until the horrible, painful, have-to-lie-down-in-bed stomach aches I used to get a few times every year went away completely once I went from vegetarian to vegan. Like I honestly thought those stomach aches were just an unavoidable part of my life and a consequence of living in a society lmao.

      But then again, I've also heard that like two-thirds of the human adult population has lactose intolerance, so I suppose my anecdote isn't all that surprising.
