Bullying Maine lobstermen is cool and good.
This is a piece I wrote which gets a little into the economics of Maine, in particular its lobster industry. A consumer advocacy group in California recently advised people not to buy Maine lobster due to the industry threatening the very existence of the right whale, and Maine lobstermen—every one of whom is petite bourgeois—reacted like a bunch of crybabies. My piece also makes fun of them relentlessly because they are by far the worst people who have ever walked the Earth.
This account is an alt I'm using because if any of these people find out who I am I will be lynched. As proof, I recently joined the Bug-Eating PMC Karen Caucus at my local DSA.
This seems awfully condescending and tbh maine lobsterman are not who we should be taking shots at. Blatant misogamy when talking about their wives. Like, really, is this how leftists are going to make progress? Shitting on lobsterman who get up at 4am to do physical labor opposed to hedge fund types. You missed on this imo.
The fact that they are small rather than big businessmen doesn’t make them good.
