News from the future
It's February, 2025. In the aftermath of the 2024 elections GOP gets total control of the federal government. Plus they have total control of the majority of the states. The GOP has rebranded itself and the country. US has officially become the First American Reich. and the GOP as become FAR. They want to finish the job and do away with annoyances such as voting.
President Ghoul and the GOP want to get the Finish FAR bills passed in the president's first 100 days. 38 states are required to change the constitution and the process should take years. That's not a problem because the GOP justices have effectively okayed an "expedited" and "simplified" constitutional convention. It's "constitutional" because Clarence Thomas claims that a grammatical error exists in a particular draft of the constitution that is unfortunately unavailable to the public and the media. Translating from Originalism into layman's terms - a quickie vote can happen if majority of the states have "pre-voted" to have a convention. FAR has a majority of the states so pre-voting has already occurred.
The democrats response to say... "This is not who we are!... History will judge FAR harshly!... Hypocrites!... Look how many bibles and flags are behind Pelosi and Schumer at this photo op! Let's double the yearly police budgets from $120 billion to $240!... Let's double the military budget so it's at at least ~$1.5 trillion!... We love America more than anybody!..."
FAR says "We need your votes. We'll double the police budges. We'll double - hell - triple the military budgets."
"We just want to check. You definitely will allow some people to vote for us, right?"
"Of course. FAR will allow elections to continue. We swear. We even pinky promise."
The next week the votes are held. Budgets are voted on the same day. Minutes after the last vote - the democrat party has been classified as a terrorist group due to a secret GOP justice shadow ruling wherein the GOP justices secretly already created a process for secret shadow rulings.
The dems make passionate pleas - "This is not who we are!..." - as they are lead to the work camps which are effectively death camps. If you listen to the wind blow just the right way - you might be able to hear the word "Hypocrites!"
