No country on Earth hates it's children more than TERF island. They tear up parks and replace them with concrete to deprive them (and everyone) of places to go for free, they put up little high-pitched noise devices everywhere that are meant to be uncomfortable to them to discourage "loitering", and they have programs like PREVENT that use 21st century War on Terror rationales to funnel children into the prison pipeline even more efficiently (and on even flimsier pretenses) than ever before!. Now these solipsistic Saturnian fucks, who at every point in their lives have felt entitled to treats, an empire, neverending cultural hegemony for their generation and class, sex tourism in oppressed nations, control of other people's bodies, and unconditional love and respect from their abused children, are starting to grind up against the cold walls of the reality they helped create, and their stunted psyches cannot handle it, reaching out as always for someone else to blame.

#Notallbrits obviously, but the society; there is something deeply vicious, incestuous, and cannibalistic about that wretched isle.

People will (rightfully) shit on the Tories a lot, but the horrifying thing is that a lot of this stuff - as well as ASBOs and the shutting down of almost all youth clubs - happened under New Labour, and following Blair's tragedy we'll soon be living under Starmer's farce.

If only Labour could have stopped itself from punching down on the working class, they could have won in 2019 and Corbyn would have been PM. But no, they just couldn't. At this point they need to rebrand and drop the Labour name because that's definitely not the part of society they want to represent.

I've spent most of the last few years mostly convinced that the United States is the worst society on earth, but the last few months have started to convince me that maybe, just maybe, it's only second to the UK

Power Cut is officially my new favorite euphemism for revolutionary use of the :gui-better:

Also, not to mock or judge appearances, but if this guy shaved his head he'd make a top notch Uncle Fester

Gotta love how these crusty white boomers are all like "A little hellish amount of suffering is good for you"

They lived during a time of unprecedented economic and societal stability, especially in comparison to to their non-white counterparts and especially so compared to the nations they exploited to achieve that

Worst they probably suffered was a Jell-O salad every now and again

Living in Texas during a blackout that lasted a few days at below freezing was... a bit more than mildly unpleasant. Can't imagine having to put up with that shit for weeks or months at a time.

Probably the worst angle on it is the theory that this will encourage people to turn off their damned phones (wut r batrys?) and go outside (in the middle of UK winter?) for anything other than a full blown riot.

Just picturing this guy sticking his head out of a window during the riots and being like "You call this untenable? Back when I was in uni I had to live in a flat with a Scotsman and an Irishman!"

I mean, the lights are on right now. We didn't lose the grid during the August heat wave. So... eh.

To be honest all these "We had it so tough! Suffering builds character!" British chud journos never practice what they preach, this guy 100% lives on a diet of Foie Gras, Dom Perignon and Adrenachrome in his fully heated, massive house.

Too bad they don't think the diminished treatflow that would come with building a sustainable future also "builds character".
