Basically any channel with a sizable following will have these bots mass replying to comments.
In cases like this it's a bit grim
Yeah, I saw one with the name of the channel with underscores, saying contact me on Telegram, with the channel logo as its avatar. Fucking sick. I don't know why Youtube doesn't ban these shitheads. Some kind of scam. Probably Youtube gets a cut. You can click "report" all you want, the next day the post is still up.
I think it's just Youtube being lazy. They probably have like three actual humans working on reports and the rest relies on the algorithm
Btw: The latest video of Innuendo Studios (Alt-right playbook, "the cost of doing business") talks about it's not a win-win IF the protest is big enough so the shitheads gets scared or get their teeth kicked in.
It's a misspelling of "prize" but also the scammer accidentally being honest.
These scams work by duping random commenters into thinking they've been selected to receive a random prize by their favourite Youtuber. If you contacted "Shaun" here on Telegram, you'd be told in shaky English that you only need to pay for shipping fees (probably in the form of gift cards or crypto) to receive your awesome free prize.
Obviously they're not gonna have much luck on a channel like Shaun's but I assume it works better on awful influencer channels that already do a bunch of giveaways and raffles
The first time I got one of these was on a channel that actually DOES giveaways in the comments. Of course it was a scam, but they had me going I'll admit. The next few I was wiser.
