I mean countries as a concept are bad, they are arbitrary social constructs that throughout history have costed millions of lives. China is a country, therefore China bad.
I mean objectively speaking China is better than the US, simply for the fact that they don't overthrow governments in the middle east/south america, and that their "imperialism" really does seem to be about uplifting their partners, instead of exploiting them. But especially on a workers rights/working condition POV there's lots of criticism to be had.
But saying countries as a concept are bad isn't that fringe of an opinion
They're throwing a religious minority group into interment camps, engage in mass surveillance of their citizenry, and open critique of the government can be met with incarceration.
This is bad. All this is bad. And even if hypocritical right wingers make these critiques, it doesn't make China good. Enemy of my enemy mentality is for idiots.
it's funny how you say all that with such certainty and an inherent assumption that we're "blinded by revenge" or whatever the fuck, and yet the chinese population, even according to imperialist think tanks vastly disagrees with you - including those from xinjiang, where those imaginary "internment camps" are supposed to be
i guess i'll trust you instead of the chinese. lmao
And there's the ableism lol, totally on cue. Also do you have a source that's not Free Radio Asia or Adrian Zenz? Oviously I'm not the biggest fan of China as an anarchist, but there's no need to spew western propaganda points verbatim.
If you were around for the Gulf War, I bet you'd have been the person who swallowed the "Saddam's men are removing babies from incubators" line completely and yelled down anyone who doubted it
But China actually is bad though.
