          If you have a java script blocker add-on installed, you can bypass the paywall that way by disabling the "WashingtonPost" script

            right! should've thought of that, used uBlock Origin's feature to turn off scripts for washingtonpost.com and that worked. thank you

                navigate to washington poast dot com, click on the little UO red shield to the right of the URL bar, on the right side of the dialog there is a </> button, click that

                  Thanks. Does it make the comments unaccessible for you too? It says "0 comments" on every article when I disable the javascript. Not that it matters much since comments are a cesspool anyway
