    this is where i must point out that only 12% of emissions in the EU are from residential buildings and almost all of those emissions are from electrical plants not using sustainable forms of energy. doesnt help that there are so many studies out there that purposefully obfuscate the prole's energy needs to make it seem like its much larger or equitable to industrial and capitalist needs by separating the graphs and categories rather than simply comparing it all in the same dataset.

      Yes I don't think we should get rid of showers. The author writes about some fascinating (low) technologies but ultimately rejects modern civilization and is extremely idealistic (see their article about how modern militaries should use bows and arrows cause it's more environmental... What?).
