I think it said something like "the media before 2014" and it's just a ton of headlines about the nazis in Ukraine before the west completely aboutfaced and never talked about it again. I searched Google, reddit, Twitter and here and for the life of me cannot find it. Tyia
This was it! Ty hexxerbearers https://hexbear.net/pictrs/image/mwp1B8hslR.png
I was outright horrified at how fast not just the media but every single liberal I knew did a 180 on Ukrainian Nazis. It really, starkly demonstrated just how shallow most people's pretenses of antifascism are.
Knowing that there's no amount of evidence you can show someone who was told that something is propaganda by Bad Country (who's conveniently an enemy of the west) that will change their mind is...bad
Like I know exactly who would've supported the red scare, Vietnam and Korean invasions, and invasion of the Middle East because they refuse to think for themselves or fucking read anything
"We have to support (South Korea/South Vietnam) because they were invaded by their imperialist neighbor and they have a right to defend themselves from being genocided!"
Fascism is when you are Russian and the more Russian you are, the more Fascister you get
Yeah most people think imperialism is when magic line on map changes. Amerikkkans didn't change map lines in Iraq so it's not imperialism
its bc npr says it, once npr says something it's Good and Factual.
So many people get mad when I point out the simple truth that the British Broadcasting Corporation is as much British propaganda as Russia Today is Russian propaganda.
Hell BBC is worse than what they think either of those are, I've never seen CGTN or RT defend any pedophiles like I've seen BBC vehemently do so
Not what you asked for but here's a tumblr masterpost of links to different headlines before the war

Edit: had to link a different reblog
Please, please don’t listen to this, this is Russian propaganda.
Ukraine does have a neonazi problem, but they are a minority (even if a rather unpleasant one) with zero chances of overthrowing the government.
I’m sure the guys with machine guns, rocket launchers, western training, and ideological support from the government have 0 chances of overthrowing the government
I don’t understand how them bring a minority is relevant. Fascists have overthrown many governments despite being the minority. Why do democrats freak out about Jan 6 if republicans are the minority?
They're certainly not going to overthrow the government. Not this government.
Please, please don’t listen to this, this is Russian propaganda.
Ukraine does have a neonazi problem, but they are a minority (even if a rather unpleasant one) with zero chances of overthrowing the government. Ukraine’s far right political party routinely polls under 2% in national elections.
Like them polling poorly has any relevance, lol.
zero chances of overthrowing the government
Why would they overthrow a government they have complete control over lmao
Do you know what the actual name of that site was before the word filter broke it?
Search engine challenge: find any of these articles without filtering for date or using the exact headline
I started saving pictures like this because they become impossible to find. sucks hexbear deletes posts after a month cause I had a bunch saved on the site but now they're gone.
I'd like to see one specifically about Zelensky. How prior to 2022 he was described as corrupt, inept, authoritarian.
Does such a thing exist?
he was in one of the Pee Papers but nobody who's first language was english cared about ukraine before last year
Just commenting to confirm that you aren't losing your mind. I remember this image and I can't find it either.
Lol I did so many searches on Google, didn't think to check the know your meme page but I'm glad I know it's always there for future reference. I have a bad habit of saving so many images and not organizing them I loose stuff all the time
Lmao I predicted the comment on that site before I clicked to open it.
It's on my phone somewhere. If I'm not back in 12 hours, please feed me cat.
