Okay this is a weird question for several reasons but basically #1 rule is that missing out on having sex with someone is not a big deal, if consent is not enthusiastic and obvious just err on the side of not getting it on. Unfortunately difficult to convince young people who haven't had much sex of the truth of this, but whatever. Rule #2 is be honest and don't lead people on. Of course this one will be broken because people are dicks but whatever it has to be said.

What, is this for you or your friend? What are you gonna do, lecture your friend the information you're presented with here?

My friend wants to have sex with more people

Hey me too! Maybe you should introduce us to each other.

“With more people” implies they’re already doing that with some people. So… just apply the same standards, but to more people.

tell them that when you have casual sex with someone you still owe them the same courtesy, consideration, and transparency about your intentions as you would in a less casual relationship.
