at least choose just a first name. im sure there are plenty of czech trans commies named kristina in the world, im sure they wont find me :shrug-outta-hecks:
Are you Czech? Okay, I don't know if I've asked this ever, but I remember Czech people telling me in Prague that they'd put carp in their bathtubs for Christmas. And, I swear they were just fucking with me but I met a Czech couple in Canada and they said they did.
Now, they did try the "smrdíš jako prase" thing on me lol so I didn't think they were completely trustworthy.
Its true. I liked rubbing them and giving them nice food. Don't really do it much anymore but whenever I'm in Czechia for Christmas we still do it. The purpose of the bathtub is to make the water as clean as possible each day in time for Christmas because the carp are in muddy rivers. So the goal is to give them a very clean environment and feed it well which enhances the taste.
The whole thing is to like, get your kids to care for it and give it its best life before you eat it. Kinda fucked but yeah lmao. I'm pretty sure the Poles and Slovaks do it too.

I've seen it done in Czech movies, so if it's a hoax it's an elaborate one.

Indeed it is also a thing here in poland
It also used to be big a thing with Eastern European Jewish immigrants here in :amerikkka:
I have no experience with it myself but I'm pretty sure my great grandparents did that too
