No, I guess she hosted the World Uyghur Congress at her university for a speech on it, so she kept insisting “Nonono I have FRIENDS from there!!! They say a bajillion people are DEAD! DEEAD!!”. And I was like “Are these actual friends you know or people from the WUC or another org”, and she was like “The WUC but I became FRIENDS with them!”. Then she proceeded to send me a bunch of instagram posts claiming to have info on the situation, with all of them having the debunked pictures and Adrien Zenz talking points. Also kept insisting China was trying to eradicate Islam which idk where that comes from. Then she went on about China’s “occupation” of East Turkestan, Taiwan, Tibet and Hong Kong and at the point I just let the friendship die. Fuck that separatism neonationalism bs.
