I grew up in Italy. A building code reform from 1975 mandates the installation of a bidet in every residential building constructed since.

              Struggle session 101:

              1. Go into a thread and advocate a really obscure/niche position that nobody criticizes or talks about (i.e. "Bedtimes are authoritarian")

              2. People are going wtf at your take

              3. You double down and people discuss among themselves about what you said.

              4. Positions are split between "Wtf are they talking about" and "They're right"

              5. Time is wasted, people are annoyed. One wedge issue of many is created.

you are never going to make people believe that washing your ass with water is bourgeoise decadence, it's a completely incomprehensible and ridiculous position, shut up already

Can we stop calling them struggle sessions and just return to calling it drama.

:reddit-logo: throughly contaminated that word and concept and turned it into glorified bullying with exhausting "le popcorn" memes on the side. It's how fascist shit like K!w!farms took off too.
