      I'm assuming this whole endeavour depended heavily on money being essentially free for another decade or two, which sounds stupid in hindsight, but, to be fair, it also sounded stupid at the time.

    This is where the tier starts? Insane. I've had apis for proprietary data that fortune 100 companies used to actually get customers, and that made like a few million. And this 500k a year for like research? Ridiculous.
