Me, I went to a music show last night, and after finally working up the nerve to say hello to a girl we chatted for like half an hour about horror fiction and retro video game sand she gave me her number because I didn't have an instagram account yet (I made one now so I can trade instas like she wanted to)

Psychological watershed moment for me, never really had any luck with the ladies before and I'm glad I decided to go out and take a risk, hopefully I can see more of this lady in the future and we can vibe together :sicko-fem: :sicko-flipped:

(Yes this is a bragging post now go brag about shit in your life)

EDIT: Texted concert girl asking to meet for coffee, and referencing book she recommended which fucking slaps so far, we'll see what happens

female coworker advised me not to wait too long and joked two days was "playing hard to get," these zoomers don't waste any time :sicko-zoomer:

With tech/e-waste laying around, I built my daughter a projection theater for her play room. I spent 0.0 dollars. Almost all of the components were sourced from shit I stole from previous employers.

I set up my second Grindr date with a new guy.

We're just going to get coffee and cuddle. That's it.

I've been asking guys to cuddle on grindr and I've gotten nothing but positive responses. I'm also going to reach out to some mtf bodybuilders and see if they are interested in having a gym partner.

    I just want cute dates.

Ii don't have much skills honestly. The only thing that I've changed recently Is I'm more forward with what I want.

I finally started taking my hobby of game development seriously. I have made some good progress with Godot engine. Just basic platformers and some basic menu/inventory management. I have gone from zero to .0000000000001 and I'm rather proud of it.

Godot is great. I’ve only made some dinky experiments with it so far. The 4.0 update is fantastic though and I’ve been getting more into it. If you haven’t tried it yet I highly suggest it. The new tilemaps are incredible.

I'm still rocking with 3.5 . It's pretty rad. Hopefully i'll make something I'm very proud of and want to share with friends and comardes that brings joy and is dope as fuck.

I spent like two hours working up the courage to talk to her because my brain was all "she wants to be left alone, she will tell you to fuck off and pepper spray and taze you for being a creep who had the audacity to speak to a woman out of turn" but no she was chill and we talked about Silent Hill and I recommended John Dies at the End to her

And even if it doesn't work out with this person I know I can go up and talk to someone and there is a possibility they will not vomit a stream of hypersonic velocity needles at me to tear through my flesh and organs, and might instead be all "hey you also like Terminator 2 that's neat"

yeah, people are honestly surprising with how cool they can be. i think my anxiety around social situations stemmed from spending too much time looking at a screen. it's easy to forget that the internet draws in and amplifies the voices of the most unhinged asocial weirdos on the planet, so taking online folks at face value was basically setting myself up for failure

For me it was having no idea how to talk to/interact with people for a long time paired with the bullying that results in when you're a kid

I've gotten a lot better and just haven't been cognizant of that

I can't give away too much details for opsec reasons, but I moved . It's only temporary but I found a small town I actually kind of like, even if I am still in the Great Satan. I wish that the US would balkanize because I unironically think that some of these places deserve so much better. I've been going outside so much more, and I noticed I am unlearning the brain worms that life can be compared to vidya in any capacity. Ironically, this is something I hate about CHUDs.

Now, I have the space I need to find a more permanent occupation I want to do, and I am looking up some information about careers I might enjoy. Alongside this, I am plotting my escape plan to GTFO the Great Satan before shit really hits the fan.

So I might be at a turning point in my life.

I've picked up the guitar, again after a couple of years and have been doing sweep-picking, alternate and hybrid picking exercises consistently now, for like a month. Hopefully, I'll see some results.

Things have been critically bad for me mental health wise for the last month, but in an effort to stop myself from completely isolating I stumbled into new friendships and have enjoyed spending time with them

Wver since I got my bike fixed,I've been riding around and picking a single orange from the sweetest trees I find and extracting the seeds. Yesterday I planted like 60 seeds in pots , and now they're all sleeping under the grow light. Hopefully soon they'll stretch up towards the pink glow

I really don't want to rain on your parade but most citrus don't grow true to seed. If they were grafted, as most commercially sold citrus are, the seeds will grow the rootstock not the tasty graft fruit. If you already know this and have a plan my apologies, but I didn't and spent 3 years growing bunk oranges :(

Oh yeah, this is my first big batch so I'm pretty much just growing them for foliage and practice, but I still chose the sweeter ones because who knows, maybe one or two will come out true:vivian-shrug:

I visited some friends in what I consider to be the nicest place in :amerikkka: last week and walked on a glacier, and just got home from my first time skate skiing on my new skis.
