    Sometimes it's kinda fun to go on to r/monarchism, it helps that unlike proper fascists, unironic monarchists have almost no chance of any of their goals actually being realized (though, monarchists are sometimes just fascists with a crown, so yeah). So its fun when they declare that over half the us needs to be killed in order to make way for a proper absolute catholic monarch, or that Barbados becoming a republic is one of worst things to have happened in 2020.

      Looking through now and there are some people who are just nerds that think having a royal family is cute and then some people who literally think we should use violent terror to re-establish absolute monarchy abolishing the nation state in favor of royal fiefdoms lmao

    Honestly since the sub got banned, that's just been my reddit experience, even in the niche subs I still go to. It's kind of disconcerting to see "Black people were better off being born/taken to the USA than they would be in China" as a popular enough take anywhere gaming related, but here we are.
