I've met transphobes who equate puberty blockers to surgery, when they aren't. They don't care about reality and their obsession with trans people is deranged. They're not even like a normal type of conservative moron who wants lower property taxes or to run a business with a lower minimum wage. No, they're obsessed with completely imaginary things they made up to make themselves angry. Zero actual connection to their material interests or concerns, they just want to be evil for its own sake. They all need to congregate in an unmarked pit in the ground on an abandoned forest path miles away from polite society

the statistical over-representation of LGBTQ+ minors living on the streets and in shelters is a testament to the moral bankruptcy of evangelical christian "family" values. they will condemn their own children to destitution and death before letting those young people mature into someone that will make them "look bad" in their toxic little insular networks.
it's yet another reason we need strong social safety nets and universal rights to material needs, especially for the young: these monsters need to be defanged until their threats are hollow. children who voluntarily separate from their family of origin due to abuse should never have to worry about finding food, shelter, safety, healthcare, education, or community.
