The US invaded and occupied 2 countries on the pretext of terrorism and “weapons of mass destruction”.

Russia is seen as an invading force for attempting to protect Russian population in a country that borders its own.

If you’d asked me in 2012 if I supported dissolving NATO, I’d have called you crazy.

    Ask me now…

If you ever asked me if I supported dissolving NATO I always would have said yes.

    This made me laugh...

Despite Zelensky’s appeals, it appears that Biden is likely to skip his planned peace summit, apparently preferring to attend a fundraiser in California with celebrities including George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

To be America's enemy is dangerous, to be it's ally is absolutely fatal.

Also round of applause to Zelensky who thinks the best way to get America to keep funding him is to talk shit about them hoping to shame them into supporting him. Clearly doesn't have a basic understanding of American politics. Can't shame them or try to make things be on your terms, best you can do is convince them it was their genius idea to help you.

Browbeating and shaming is the neoliberal way. He learned it from the best!

To be fair if I had the the choice between Zelensky and George Clooney I would go with Clooney as well. Clooney is a much better actor

Someone posted a screenshot of an article about some European political event. One picture included the politicians laughing and strolling down the street, and below that picture was one of Ukrainian soldiers deep in some mud carrying artillery

Lmao Zelenskys plan is still to hold a peace negotiation that doesn't include the person he's at war with, who has clearly stated their terms for a ceasefire.

"The war will end when putin fucks off back to russia" is still the deeply unserious position held by world leaders apparently.

A Russian victory in Ukraine would rewrite the map of Europe and present the continent with a threat not seen for more than 80 years. We must not forget this.

Weird. No one seems to care about the US rewriting the maps of Cuba to include Guantanamo in its territories.
