The last time I tried modding Morrowind I couldn't get the added foliage from the graphics overhaul to remap to TR and then gave up.

Talking to professors about finishing a degree in CS and how to apply to tech jobs so maybe I can fuck off to Los Angeles, NYC, or Seattle, which are three places in the country I would find to be the least shit. If I can leave the country altogether, great, but I'm not delusional enough to follow Twitter's advice to "stay and fight" in red states. I want to meet people my age instead of being left behind in this fashy, retirement home esque shithole where upper middle class old people LARP as cowboys.
Does anyone have any resources for recovering NEETs? My depression is on its last legs and I want to know how to slay the beast once and for all.
My suggestion is to make intense human connection once a week. Go to a show, meet up with friends, volunteer. For me, becoming idle let's the depression sink back in and keeping busy has been the key to getting over the last 10% of long term depression.

I tabled at Pride! I've been getting involved with a support network for LGBTQ youth, so I hosted the table for a couple hours. It was a really great experience! I talked to a lot of awesome people, and I'm hoping that some of them will get involved with us. I also talked to some awesome people who are already doing things to improve the lives of LGBTQ folks, right here in our extremely red state. It was really encouraging, especially after all the shit that's been going on.
I also felt really reinvigorated by this one gentleman in his 50s or so who stopped, listened to what we're doing, and signed up immediately to help, then started crying because he was rejected by his own family and wanted to help kids who are in the same situation. It made me cry too, but beyond being so sad for all the pain, I was also so touched by him taking his painful experience and wanting to help others. That pain was so raw for him, even after all these years. We HAVE to keep fighting for a better world.
I'm holding off playing anything alone until I move to a new place and get a new computer, at least. Should take... a solid few months.
Once in a while, playing with a bud watching (or being the one watching, while giving them hints on a game you already played) is surprisingly fun. I can see why streamers are a big thing.
