it really puts into perspective the fact that the only real thing we have going for us is our tools... put us in front of a raging bull or an angry polar bear and we're simply nothing

      these are powerful creatures

Cooperation is probably a big deal as well. Like yeah we have guns now, but for quite a while we were hunting in groups with spears, nets, etc.

That footage of a rodeo makes me feel so doomjak like what a mean-spirited thing to do

You say you like freedom, but what about when a bull achieves freedom?

I feel like I've seen variations of this exact same "bull at a rodeo jumps fence and ragdolls some mfers" for like 30 years now, starting on the local equivalent of americas funniest home videos back then.

I mean you're inviting this to happen anyways given the whole situation but is everybody involved in running the animal cruelty pit just actually incapable of the genius idea of "higher fence"? Like this is so trivial to solve entirely and forever

I think part of it's so that people can hop over it with ease if the bull starts kicking their ass too hard.

They haven't figured out that bulls can jump too

I know scinetifically speaking the whole "bulls attack red" thing is a myth but this is some pretty compelling anecdotal evidence.
