There’s no reason why Trump should lead in any poll or be a threat in the general election. Biden has accomplished more than any president since FDR. In 2022 alone, Biden and Dems did the following:

  • passed the bipartisan infrastructure bill, the largest investment in infrastructure since Eisenhower
  • passed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, breaking a 30-year streak of federal inaction on gun violence legislation

  • largest one-year deficit reduction in U.S. history

  • signed the Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Act, the first federal ban on lynching after 200 failed attempts
  • Initiated “use it or lose it" policy for drilling on public lands to force oil companies to increase production
  • released 1 million barrels of oil a day for 6 months from strategic reserves to ease gas prices
  • rescinded Trump-era policy allowing rapid expulsion of migrants
  • expunged student loan defaults
  • overhauled USPS finances to allow the agency to modernize its service

  • restored environmental reviews for major infrastructure projects
  • Launched $6 billion effort to save distressed nuclear plants
  • provided $385 million to help families and individuals with home energy costs through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. (This is in addition to $4.5 billion provided in the American Rescue Plan.)
  • national registry of police officers who are fired for misconduct
  • tightened restrictions on chokeholds, no-knock warrants, and transfer of military equipment to police departments
  • required all federal law enforcement officers to wear body cameras

  • best economic growth record since Clinton

These wall-of-text dumps of "accomplishments" exist entirely for supporters to point to in order to refute the idea that "Biden's done nothing in office." The fact that it's a list of actions instead of meaningful results is completely irrelevant.

And since refuting drivel like this takes much more effort than it took to create it, it goes uncorrected and people go on believing it

So much of this is just "I signed the papers they put in front of me" or "my underlings did something but technically I gave the order" or "I'm gonna do it, trust me bro". I wish I had the confidence to make such mountains out of molehills

    Also LMAO

brokered joint US/Mexico infrastructure project; Mexico to pay $1.5 billion for US border security

Literally "build the wall and make mexico pay for it" but it's bloo so it's something to be celebrated

Withdrawing from Afghanistan is the only thing that was directly Biden himself. He watched the generals string along Obama for 8 years and he was also the only one against the surge in 2009 and Biden generally is resentful towards the staff of Obamaworld not taking him seriously and patronizing him and viewing Hillary as Obama’s successor, so being right about Afghanistan was his fuck you. Out of the entire 2020 Democrat field only Biden and Bernie would have ever actually withdrawn imo

brought COVID under control in the U.S. (e.g., COVID deaths down 90% and over 220 million vaccinated)

Bruh COVID deaths dropped because everyone who was susceptible to Covid was thrown in to the flaming cauldron at the feat of a giant brazen statue of a three headed goat.

best economic growth record since Clinton

Lol Clinton's Free Trade bullshit is the reason the Rust Belt is the Rust Belt and is the direct proximal cause of the opioid and meth crisis but go off.

brokered joint US/Mexico infrastructure project; Mexico to pay $1.5 billion for US border security

    Nazi shit

Operation Fly-Formula, bringing needed baby formula (19 missions to date)

Late, and only when it became clear that actual babies would actually die and people would blame him for it

invested more in crime control and prevention than any president in history

    Nazi shit

Climate Smart Buildings Initiative: Creates public-private partnerships to modernize Federal buildings to meet agencies’ missions, create good-paying jobs, and cut greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions

Nazi shit, specifically "Public Private Partnerships"

Reunited 500 migrant families separated under Trump

How many kids are still missing, Brandon? Are the concentration camps still open, Brandon?

Truly ushering in a new era of prosperity and hope

overhauled USPS finances to allow the agency to modernize its service

I don't know what this is in reference too but given the decades long bipartisan plan to loot the USPS it's probably bad

    unemployment at a 50-year low

That's because at least a million people died and millions more are disabled you dipshit 🦣 <- pretend this is the ba'al Mammon. How many of these are Brandon taking credit for feeding hundreds of thousands of people to the Altar of Khorne?

signed the NATO accession protocols for Sweden and Finland

If it weren't for that whole Vietnam thing, liberals might know LBJ was after FDR and signed a lot of important stuff that has had an actual impact on American life. The civil rights act, the voting rights act, the creation of Medicare and Medicaid, the creation of the corporation for public broadcasting, national endowments for the arts, federal housing assistance, expansion of food stamps, large increases to public schools and university funding. Stuff that actually matters. He also raised minimum wage. The last president to raise minimum wage was George W Bush. That's a disgrace.

Literally The Great Society and the reason conservatives look back at the 60s/70s as beatific.

Incidentally, a bunch of that stuff came out of the popular politics of the 40s and 50s, finally bearing fruit. Decades of regional activism and special interests building momentum for these programs, much of which carried into the Nixon Administration and providing the largest wave of environmental protection legislation the nation has ever seen.

For some reason, we just kinda ignore the community leaders that made this shit possible. We just kinda pin the meddle on whichever President happened to be in power after a prior President and his Attorney General brother had their heads aerated.

Yeah lots of bare minimums, not even close to enough/not worth mentioning, actually really bad, basically useless, totally unrelated to POTUS, would've been passed with or without him (let alone a Dem), and overly rosy attributions here.

Libs are committed to never understanding that "we made things get worse a little slower" isn't a winning message. The number of individuals whose lives were measurably improved by something here, but whose life didn't overall get worse in the same period, is pretty small. Absent improving their conditions, the most effective way to win a vote is to define outgroups worthy of hurt which you then hurt.

united world against Russia’s war in Ukraine

Ending America's longest war. Starting America's new longest war. Both of these count as accomplishments.
