Hello,

I like to cook, and I like watching cooking videos (especially short ones as my attention span has been destroyed) but a lot of videos that get recommended to me are completely inaccessible to me due to expensive specialty hardware or are weirdly chuddy. If you know of some good channels, can you link them to me?

Thank you, --CapnCat

Just a word of warning, zero of these people make vegan food:

Ethan Chlebowski is like a cross between Joshua Weissman and Adam Ragusea, in that he does deep dives on ingredients and techniques/methods, while being significantly less obnoxious than both. Helen Rennie is in the same wheelhouse and also recommended.

Jean Pierre puts on a lively show. He makes a pretty wide range of dishes, and even if I'm not interested in whatever specific thing he's cooking, I watch almost every time just because he's fun to watch and I usually learn something new I can apply to various other recipes.

Smoking and Grilling with AB is great if you like American (especially southern) comfort foods. He explains the recipes in a way that's direct and easy to follow, and doesn't often use expensive ingredients.

I love Jean Pierre, his presentation style is wonderful and I love his enthusiasm for cooking! He's definitely not a vegan cook but his enthusiasm is infectious!
