That's because they don't have a culture of their own. All they did was make a lemmy and import reddit culture to it. They've done absolutely nothing to create an actual community with any cohesion or loyalty to itself, they have nothing unique, they don't know what they're doing at all. They have not one single creative bone in their bodies.
If they took part in creating any unique community culture themselves they would be capable of understanding and vibing with unique community culture elsewhere, because you can recognise it.
