I always wondered why in Jurassic Park they didn't just vote on a bill which would give the dinosaurs refundable tax credits if they open small businesses in undeserved communities to distinctivise them from eating people

'While i don't agree with the candidate you voted for, i will fight to the death for your right to vote' (for a fascist)

Why do celebrities love telling people to vote? Not for anyone in particular. Just to vote.

It's the boring liberal version of dogwhistling. Everyone know that they mean 'VOTE' (for biden) but they never say that, because it means that if they have any trump supporting fans then they might not watch their movies anymore, hurting their wealth and their ego in one go, and rich celebrities just cannot have that.

Its a way to pretend to make a stand without actually having any principals.

It may not be a popular position but if Jeff Goldblum is telling me to do something I am gonna consider it harder than a lot of other things because he is still legit hot as fuck

After careful consideration I'm not going to vote for Biden but if Jeff Goldblum wanted to slip it to me I would lie to him and tell him I did

Especially the time/movie when the T. Rex rampages through the city and then eats that outdoor cat dog.

Liberals don't want to win, they want the system to keep chugging along. Each and every one of these people "want" you to vote for Biden, but they don't say that, because its more important that the system is maintained and the both choices are presented as equal.

They can't even be bothered to tell you why to vote. The implication, I guess, is that Trump is so bad that its obvious. But the reverse is actually true, that the reason to vote for Biden is so hard to articulate that its easier just to leave it unsaid, and hope that people figure it out. Or not, it doesn't really matter to them, as other people have pointed out ITT.
