      the foxes-in-hen-houses party has made a firm commitment to asking, at some point very soon, that the scorpions-murdering-frogs party very kindly not murder the frogs brutally. when asked for comment, the scorpions stung our correspondant to death, which was sadly unavoidable and wholly out of their control.

    To be fair, reaching out to moderate Republicans is the only trick Democrats have.

    It always fails, because there are no "moderate" Republicans, but they won't let that stop them.

    Republicans aren't like "I am a good person but i'm acting like this for no reason, but since Biden asked nicely, I'll start acting like an actual good person and do the right thing, because"

    Republicans think its great that they are getting a supreme court justice. And if Bernie (i.e. a hard leftist that was good) was president right now and was stacking the court even after complaining that the other side was stacking it against em, id think it was good, too
