He did say stuff like "America should have net zero energy" (when he meant to say "emissions") under his plan and many other sentences where the second half was disconnected from the first, but he didn't shit the bed. IMO Trump won on points, but there was no knockout so Biden's overall position won't shift.
I thought he said net zero from energy by 2035, meaning net zero emissions specifically from energy production, as opposed to net zero including cars and manufacturing and shit.
